Triumphant Triplets: Mariah, Mercy And Samuel Addai-Opoku Graduate At Top Of Class
In an extraordinary achievement, triplets Mariah, Mercy, and Samuel Addai-Opoku from Aurora, Colorado, have simultaneously graduated from high school at the top of their class.
The trio, who also earned associate degrees from the Community College of Aurora, credits their success to their close relationship and their parents’ wisdom.
Their parents, Kwasi and Margaret Addai-Opoku, immigrated from Ghana in the 90s, seeking a better life for their future family. The triplets initially faced a tough transition in school but quickly adapted and excelled academically, athletically, and socially.
Mariah, Mercy, and Samuel ranked in the top ten of Hinkley High School’s class of 2024, balancing academics with part-time jobs and friendships. They plan to stay close and support each other as they head off to college, carrying with them the wisdom imparted by their parents: “Education is power.”
