First African American Female Air Force Pilot Retires From United Airlines
Theresa Claiborne, a pioneering African American female pilot, has retired from United Airlines after an impressive 34-year career.
Claiborne made history in 1978 as the first African American female pilot in the U.S. Air Force, paving the way for future generations of women in aviation.
