In one post, Brenda shared a photo of herself with a female friend, captioning it “My person, my everything.” She also shared a quote from a book about love, stating “Love is not about gender, it’s about souls connecting.” While Brenda did not explicitly confirm a same-sex relationship, her hints have generated significant buzz in Cameroon and beyond.
The country has strict laws criminalizing same-sex relationships, with penalties ranging from fines to imprisonment.
