Woman Finds New Happiness After First Husband’s Arrest Over Wedding Debt
In a heartwarming tale of second chances, Paleki, a journalist and former news anchor, has found love again and remarried after divorcing her first husband, Garang John, who was jailed for failing to repay millions of pounds borrowed to fund their lavish wedding.
According to reports, Paleki and Garang John tied the knot in 2016 in a colorful ceremony at Freedom Hall in Juba. However, their marriage was short-lived, as Garang John was arrested and detained for failing to pay back the massive loans he had taken to fund their expensive wedding.
Eight years later, Paleki has moved on and found love again. On July 27th, she walked down the aisle with her new partner, Ngino Along, in a traditional wedding ceremony. The news was shared on the Facebook platform ‘Hot in Juba,’ which reported that Paleki had finally found happiness again after her tumultuous first marriage.
Garang John, on the other hand, has become a fierce government critic since his detention last year and is now living in exile. His failed marriage and financial woes seem to be behind him, as he continues to speak out against the government.
