Port Harcourt Council Mayor Doles Out Cars, Mini Buses, Tricycles, And Cash Grants In Massive Empowerment Scheme
In a bid to empower and uplift the lives of residents, the Caretaker Chairman of Port Harcourt Local Gover nment Area in Rivers State, Ezebunwo Ichemati, on Saturday, distributed an array of gifts, in-cluding cars, mini buses, tricycles, and N500,000 business grants to beneficiaries.
The empowerment program, which was witnessed by prominent government officials, including the Chief of Staff to the Government House, Rt. Hon Ehie Edison, and the Honourable Commissioner of Health, Dr. Adaeze Oreh, Diaspora Watch gathered, aims to stimulate economic growth and reduce unemployment in the area.
The beneficiaries, who were visibly overwhelmed with joy, expressed their gratitude to the council chairman for his kindness and generosity. The program is a testament to the council’s commitment to improving the lives of its residents and fostering a sense of community.
With this initiative, the Port Harcourt Local Government Area has set a shining example for others to follow, demonstrating the power of effective leadership and community-driven development.
